● How long is the tour and when does it depart?
The tour lasts approximately 8 hours and departs at 8:30 AM from central Florence. You’ll return to Florence in the early evening.
● What's the maximum group size?
We keep groups intimate with 2-8 people maximum. This ensures everyone receives personalized attention and can fully engage with the truffle hunting and wine tasting experiences.
● Is truffle hunting guaranteed?
While we can’t guarantee the exact number of truffles found (nature is unpredictable!), Leonardo’s expertise in selecting the right woods means success rates are very high.
● What's included in the truffle lunch?
You’ll enjoy a farm-to-table lunch featuring handmade fresh pasta prepared with the truffles discovered during your hunt, along with local Tuscan specialties, all paired with regional wines.
● How many wines will I taste?
You’ll taste 5 wines from the small family winery including Chianti, Chianti Riserva, white and rose wines and Super Tuscan varieties. You’ll also sample extra virgin olive oil from the estate.
